Statement About «Balanced» and Privacy

«Balanced» is an app provided by independent Ukrainian developer Dmytro Popov (Дмитро Попов) (hereinafter referred to as "I", "me", or "my").

«Balanced» allows you to automate expenses control and keep all your transactions in one place. The app provides functionality for semi-automated money transactions registration via collecting new operations from selected apps’ notifications containing specified keywords (is a subject to the agreement of this Policy and providing respective permissions to the app), fiscal check QR-codes scanning, or manual transaction creation when other functions are not appropriate.

1. What Data Does the App Collect About You?

As part of the «Balanced», the following data may be collected:

• money transactions information that you decide to enter into the app. «Balanced» uses that information to provide the functionality for displaying, systematization, estimating, and statistical analysis of the income and expenses over a certain period. The data is processed and stored locally.
• information that is contained in the device's local notifications. The app will only process the notifications that contain keywords specified by the user and are sent from the apps selected by the user.
• information about the packages installed on the device. This information is used for displaying the app selection list (see the previous item).
• information that is contained in the QR codes, scanned via the QR scanner of the app. To provide this service, the app needs permission to use the camera of the device. This information will be processed to obtain the amount and the date of the purchase.

To provide full functionality, the app needs the following permissions: storing data locally, displaying all the packages installed, background work, battery optimization ignoring, autostart, using the camera, notification displaying, full access to local notifications, and services starting.

To provide the semi-automatic collecting of money transactions, the app needs access to the local notifications reading. «Balanced» will only process the notifications that contain specified keywords and are sent by the selected apps.

2. How Is Your Data Used?

For proper operation, «Balanced» will store the collected data locally in encrypted form. The data cannot be legally decrypted anywhere other than your device. No data is transmitted over the network, except for those that may be required to subscribe to the services offered by the application.

3. Is Your Data being Shared?

«Balanced» cannot share the data collected from the user with third parties, except for those that may be required to subscribe to the services offered by the application.
